Too many bananas?
Some friends and I had a conversation the other night about banana’s. It came up that a friend of theirs had recommended that someone should eat no more than a half of banana a day (we believed her advice to be because of the high sugar content).
Came to find this article from Anne Helmenstine PhD. and nutrition expert. Summing it up, potassium is the primary culprit in examining warnings against banana consumption. Too much of it can cause cardiac arrest and other heart issues, but the exact threshold for how many bananas (most likely determined by a number of genetic variables) is unknown.

Most people (at least in the US) have a woefully low K+ intake. K+ regulates your salt and water ratio as well as controlling muscle AP.
